In a surprising ad, Ubisoft has revealed that he is working on the first Ubisoft Entertainment Center, in Studios Occitanie Mediterranean in France. The location will be about 40 minutes by car from Montpellier and will offer interactive attractions based on several Franchises in Ubisoft. At this time, it is not clear exactly what it will be offered, but the company has many iconic characters from which you can appeal. Ubisoft also seems to be planning more of these entertainment centers for the future. In a press release, Bruno Farm, founder of Studios Occitanie, spoke very well about the association.

Occitanie Studios is excited to become the first location for the innovative Ubisoft entertainment center concept, said Farm. Games have become the most important way of entertainment. It makes sense that we associate with the leading game editor in France to create a new type of immersive experience that celebrates the culture of the game ».

Studio Occitanie should be an exciting destination for Ubisoft Entertainment Center. Scheduled to open by 2025, the location will include a film studio, retail stores, restaurants and more. However, Mathilde Reason, entertainment manager based on the location of Ubisoft, seems excited to be close to Montpellier, given the companys history there.

«Ubisoft is happy to partner with Studios Occitanie, a new and ambitious development of entertainment that aims to give life to the magic of narration in France, Reason said. We could not think of a better place to establish our first location than in the Montpellier region, home of the Ubisoft studio that created our iconic characters Rayman and Rabbis».

Both Rayman and the rabbis would seem perfect candidates for an experience in a thematic park! Ubisoft has done little with Rayman in recent years, but the Rabbis have received a great impetus and starred in Mario + Rabbis: Sparks of Esperanza in Nintendo Switch next year. Of course, an attraction of theme park starring Mario opened in Universal Studios Japan earlier this year. It is too early to say if Ubisoft entertainment centers will have some resemblance to that, or if they could go in a different direction. Either way, it should be interesting to see it!
