Currently, the Remedy Entertainment team is actively working on Alan Wake 2, which is scheduled for release next year on all current platforms. Although the development team has been in no hurry to share new details on the upcoming horror since the announcement, but Sam Lake decided to share some details of the behind the scenes development process.

Creative director Alan Wake 2 revealed on Twitter that he and head writer Clay Murphy have written so many pages together for the sequel that they have never done before for past games. Lake believes that the story of this game will be monstrous big. Other than that, they haven’t even finished it yet, as the writing team will be back to work after the summer break.

Remedy has previously stated that fans should not expect any updates on the sequel this summer, and therefore we will wait for the autumn or winter The Game Awards 2022.
